TxDOT ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The University of Texas at Arlington's Division for Enterprise Development Public Works Institute's (PWI) mission is to serve as the leading provider of professional and technical training to a diverse set public works professionals, be they federal, state, or local government employees or private contractors. Training topics include Work Zone Safety, Heavy Equipment Operations, Water & Waste Water, Utility & Pipeline Locating, Regulatory Requirements, Infrastructure Design & Construction, Public Safety, First Responder Safety & Response, Environmental Controls, Project Management, Tree Care/Landscape Maintenance.
These online training courses are available to contractors performing work under TxDOT's Environmental Management System.
MILITARY SERVICE CENTER
The Military Service Center (MSC) within The University of Texas Arlington Division for Enterprise Development is a unique organization dedicated to developing and providing a wide range of professional and technical support and services. We offer solutions tailored to the military community as well as the general public, ranging from professional training and certifications to process improvements and designed interventions. Subject matter experts bring extensive practical knowledge, as well as academic experience to our unique solutions. All programs can be tailored and are designed to fit the rigors of the operational environment.
