AIR201

FUNDAMENTALS OF THE CLEAN AIR ACT

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Clean Air Act (CAA) requires facilities to implement robust air emission control practices which are regulated and enforced through a complex permitting process. During this class, the instructor will provide an overview of the most pertinent CAA requirements, including the New Source Review process and Title V permitting, as well as programs to manage hazardous air pollutants and criterion pollutants.

Through classroom activities, presentations, and a discussion of compliance and enforcement activities, students will gain an understanding of what requirements may apply to their facilities and the path to compliance.
